Inside Sales

Main Electric Supply is hiring for the position of Inside Sales. On a day-to-day basis, candidates will manage existing customer accounts. Some of those responsibilities will include the following:

  • Processing stock material orders
  • Ordering non-stock items
  • Quoting various parts of a project
  • Managing projects

While there are the day-to-day responsibilities, these are the following day-to-day challenges that you will regularly face in this position:

  • Managing both your customers and your outside sales persons customers
  • Ensuring the customer receives their material in a timely manner no matter the obstacles

You will be working closely with outside sales to develop account growth, which in turn will add to the continued success of Main Electric Supply.

Qualified candidates will need to be an outside-the-box, energetic, and motivated individual. Applicants must have 2-3 years in electrical distribution, with field experience being a plus. For the position of Inside Sales, an individual must be able to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Leadership skills
  • Organization skills
  • Good time management
  • Ability to maneuver basic computer programs
  • A proficient understanding of electrical material
  • Communication skills

Outside Sales

Main Electric Supply is a premier full-service Southern California-based independent electrical distributor. We offer a Competitive commission structure, full-benefit package including health benefits and a 401k program to all full-time employees.

Main Electric Supply is hiring for the position of Outside Sales. On a day-to-day basis, candidates will manage their existing customer accounts as well as open new accounts. Some of those responsibilities will include the following:

  • Quoting various parts of a project
  • Working with vendors on pricing and order time lines
  • Building relationships with new customers
  • Managing projects

While there are the day-to-day responsibilities, these are the following day-to-day challenges that you will regularly face in this position:

  • Managing customers work load with Inside Sales
  • Ensuring the customers’ projects run smoothly and finish on or under budget

You will be working closely with Inside Sales to develop account growth, which in turn will add to the continued success of Main Electric Supply.

Counter Sales

Main Electric Supply is hiring for the position of Counter Sales. On a day-to-day basis, candidates will be required to manage will call sale business. Some of those responsibilities will include the following:

  • Placing stock material orders
  • Working with shipping and receiving to ensure stock is at adequate levels
  • Gathering stock materials to be will called

While there are the day-to-day responsibilities, these are the following day-to-day challenges that you will regularly face in this position:

  • Ensuring will call remains stocked
  • Providing an environment where customers can come in and out efficiently
  • Maintaining a clean and presentable will call

You will be working closely with inside sales as well as shipping/receiving to ensure customer satisfaction, which in turn will add to the continued success of Main Electric Supply.

Qualified candidates will need to be an outside-the-box, energetic, and motivated individual. Applicants must have 1-2 year in electrical distribution or field experience. For the position of Counter Sales, an individual must be able to demonstrate the following skills:

Project Management

Main Electric Supply is hiring for the position of Project Coordinator. On a day-to-day basis, candidates will work with the projects team to help assist in a myriad of tasks. Some of those responsibilities will include the following:

  • Building Submittal packs
  • Working with lighting reps to gather pricing for customer quote
  • Communicating with customers
  • Assisting in the management of lighting projects

While there are the day-to-day responsibilities, these are the following day-to-day challenges that you will regularly face:

  • Managing projects work load with the Lighting Projects Team
  • Helping ensure the department runs smooth

You will be working closely with Projects and the Account Managers to develop account growth, which in turn will add to the continued success of Main Electric Supply.

Qualified candidates will need to be an outside-the-box, energetic, and motivated individual. A plus to applicants is having electrical distribution experience. For the position of Project Coordinator, an individual must be able to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Quick learner
  • Organization skills
  • Good time management
  • Ability to maneuver basic computer programs
  • A proficient understanding of Microsoft programs
  • Communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
